LifeLock Review

Identity Theft is completely impossible to avoid. every day someone is a victims of identity theft and might not even know about it. millions of people all over the world are subjected to a violation of security and privacy when their social security card or a copy of the victim's information is stolen by corrupt job recruiters, other employees, or carelessly discarded into the trash. trying to stop identity theft really is a lost cause.

This review is focused on Identity Protection from LifeLock Is an american identity theft protection company that ironically got its start by a criminal and over the years had a bad reputation before it was able to create a stable and trustworthy legitimate business. the company had been known for deceptive advertising, false fraud alerts, fraud itself, and leading consumers under various false pretenses.

LifeLock had pretty much became the very thing it claimed to protect against. LifeLock requires you to have complete and absolute trust in them in order to operate thei business which is a lot to ask because they are basically asking you to trust them with your life. they have three different options of protection that each have their own respective price and features. the features are standard ($9.99), advantage ($19.99), and ultimate plus which is ($29.99).

Despite the fame and good fortune that has made LifeLock a household name the results basically varies by person because some people might have a better experience than others. one problem is the customer service itself. one complaint against LifeLock was that they can sometimes fail to notify the person who selected their "best" option before their credit card company does.

The makers of LifeLock really got in over their head trying to be the hero because even if they were doing their job according to the plan selected the alert system put into place would frequently be used and the amount of notifications sent out would be massive since theft of information and fraud is a never ending problem. customer service and the computers would burn out over time because of having to keep track of every little detail.

The benefits of LifeLock really aren't greater than what your bank, social security administration, or credit card company already provide for you as a benefit. In a sense you are paying for the benefits of the bank, social security card, and credit card through LifeLock with a twist of a few extra perks that are provided to the consumer just for being with them. LifeLock tries too hard on some occasions and not hard enough on others to impress the customer with their "protection".

LifeLock, despite its features, really is a waste of money because although it provides some type of protection the problems that elude it are hackers, identity thieves who impersonate their victim either in person or over the phone using their information, and LifeLock's own personal alert system features. it would be technically a lot safer to use the features already in place on your credit card, social security card, and personal bank.

It does not stop the theft from occurring completely but it does reduce it. All of the identity theft protection features are currently in their concept stages and probably won't be used anytime soon. some of the perks are Identity Threat Detection and Alerts, Lost Wallet Protection, Address Change Verification, Black Market Website Surveillance, Credit Card Offer Inspection, Live Customer Service (24/7 and 365 Days a  year), 1 million dollar Liability Insurance Policy, Certified Resolution Support, Credit Card Alerts, Checking and Savings Account Alerts, and more.
