Shift Manager / Team Member
Limited Benefit Medical Plan Ternian limited benefit plan is available to all full-time and part-time hourly employees (Team Members and Shift Managers), who complete 60 days of employment and who are not eligible for the company’s major medical plan. There are four coverage levels available to allow you greater flexibility, including a Minimum Essential Coverage plan that satisfies the Individual Mandate of the Affordable Care Act. The medical plans include vision and life insurance coverage.
Dental Plan Ternian also offers a dental plan that can be taken with or without the medical plan, which includes reimbursement for preventive and basic dental procedures.
401(k)Our 401(k) plan allows employees to save a portion of their for retirement. We are pleased to offer both pre-tax and Roth options to better help you plan for the future! Employees are eligible to participate if they are at least 18 years old and have completed 6 months of service. The company does make a matching contribution.
Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Employees can set aside pre-tax dollars from their paycheck to pay for miscellaneous medical expenses, which may include prescription and office visit co-pays, vision care, and dental care, among other things. Pre-tax dollars may also be set aside for dependent care (i.e., daycare) expenses up to $5,000.00 per year.
Cafeteria Plan Through the cafeteria (Section 125) plan, you will be allowed to pay all of your benefit premiums through payroll deductions, and many of them with pre-tax dollars.
Personal Time Off (PTO)After 12 months of continuous employment, Team Members and Shift Managers will be eligible for up to 40 hours of PTO.
Tuition Reimbursement Hourly employees who work at least 20 hours per week in our restaurants are eligible for Tuition Reimbursement. Employees will be reimbursed for a percentage of their tuition and required fees based on grades earned for each course (up to two courses per semester).
Training Our company is proud to provide excellent training programs through our affiliation with Wendy’s. We not only provide excellent training courses, but we also provide pay increases for each level of training an employee successfully completes.
Reviews We believe in rewarding employees for good performance and a job well done, and reviews are a part of that process. Shift Manager and Team Member reviews are conducted annually.
Uniforms We provide our restaurant employees with the proper equipment and uniforms to successfully perform their job at no cost. Uniforms are updated periodically and are provided through leading uniform companies.
Meal Discounts Each of our restaurants provides a very generous meal discount for employees. Non-alcoholic beverages are provided at no cost to employees throughout their shifts.
Referral Bonuses Our referral program helps us recruit and maintain quality restaurant personnel. You become eligible for referral bonuses when you refer an applicant for a position at the same level as or higher than your own position, and they successfully work for the company for at least 90 days.
Recognition Programs We love to recognize our employees for a job well done! We have several programs and opportunities to celebrate the success of our employees, including Voice of the Customer – VOC, Champion of the Month, and Service Awards to recognize years of service.
Locations and Hours We have restaurants in several different areas of the state and we are growing constantly! Should you seek relocation to another part of our territory, we will be happy to transfer you to another location as business needs allow.
Holidays Restaurants close annually on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Voice Of Champions Each year we provide an outlet for our Team Members to tell us how we are doing. The Voice Of Champions survey is an anonymous survey we use to measure our “people practices” from the input of our Team.
